First of all we need to remember that God has had a plan for each of us since before the beginning of time. He knew us before we were woven in our mother's womb. God does not make mistakes; if you are a living and breathing human being, you have a purpose in this life.
We are spiritually called by God, heavenly chosen by God and divinely connected by God:
Spiritually called - He is inviting us to be part of His family and it is up to us whether we accept or decline that call. When He calls us, its a life-changing call. He pulls you out of this world and into another. When you are called, you are no longer who you use to be.
Heavenly chosen - John 15:16. You are not chosen because of your looks or how you talk. You are not chosen because of how much money you make, or don't make. You are chosen for nothing that you have done or ever could do. You are chosen because God chose you. The difference between who you are now and who God called you to be determines on what you will do. I know that God has chosen and called me into ministry and it is up to me to answer that call and obey His commands.
Divinely connected by God - God puts people in our lives for a purpose. Whether it be meeting a person for a short amount of time and never seeing them again or whether He put them in your life for a long time. There is a reason why people come and go in our lives. The reasons could be holy, full of purpose, prophetic, a threat to the enemy, giving & receiving, may come with a price tag, or the many other reasons God put you in their path. We don't always know why or understand, but we know it is a perfect plan when it is from God. When it comes to crossing paths with another, remember BLAST:
B - Be available
L - Look for opportunities
A - Act with kindness
S - Sow a seed
T - Trust God
After getting saved and surrendering my life to The Lord, I now know what my purpose in life is. We were created to lead people to salvation. The bible says we are "fishers of men" - meaning we must go out and fish for lost people to be led to Christ. We all have a ministry, small or large. We must all answer our God-given call to find our purpose in life.
God bless & Merry Christmas!
